Vtg 18k 750 Yellow Gold & Multi-gemstone Sputnik Ball Orb Sphere Charm Pendant

Gorgeous hollow 18K yellow gold "sputnik". Charm or pendant studded with many multi-colored gemstones. Stones include coral, opal, turquoise, garnets, amethysts, and more. This is a vintage piece, mid-20th century; it closely resembles charms made by H.
Stern, though I don't believe this is a Stern piece. Thick bail is marked "18K", "750", and has a couple other somewhat worn-down marks I can't fully make out. Charm itself is not marked but has been confirmed by a professional jeweler to be 18K as well.
Has also just been professionally cleaned. One of the garnets has a small chip to the edge (see third photo). Charm itself (without bail) measures 3/4 across (1.9cm).
