Markings: "Pat Appld For" on the padlock charm. Padlock measurements : 0.73" length, 0.63" width. Handmade during the Art Nouveau era.

Composed of 14k yellow gold plated over a base metal. Features a fancy chain with squared links, each link adorned with repousse foliate scroll designs. Complete with a padlock clasp, symbolic of fidelity and love during this time period. The padlock clasp is missing its key, but can be opened by pressing downwards on the raised round button within the clasp while pulling upwards on the padlock bale. A replacement key may be able to be made by your local jeweler.
