Art Deco Era guilloche 14k gold enamel locket necklace, circa 1920s. Embellished with ornate blue guilloche enamel bordered in white enamel. Dates from the 1920s, signed by the renowned Sloan & Company. Hinged opening; Inside of locket marked 14k along with a trident design markers mark attributed to Sloan & Company.
The firm has roots tracing back to the mid 1800s, and was established as Sloan & Company around 1895; well known for their intricate and artistic pieces, often embellished with enamel. Pendant (including bail): 5/6 inches, Weight: 4.01 grams. Some age appropriate patina & wear including some loss to white enamel border. Has not been professionally cleaned.
